Everyone should really read this article, published on the Russian news site Pravda, which discuses the demise of American capitalism. Unfortunately, I feel it contains a lot of truth. What is almost impossible for me to comprehend, is articles like this appearing in the foreign press, and the RUSSIAN press to boot. Where is the American media with stories like this?
Surely, some of the Obama voters who even remotely pay attention, are starting to have second thoughts...Can there really be very many people who could still be happy with their vote after witnessing an American president in just FOUR MONTHS nationalize entire industries as if we were living in Venezuela, spend money at such a rate that our children and grandchildren will be indebted for years to come, with nothing to show for it except the loss of American liberty, and happily announce in a speech that we "ain't seen nothing yet"?
The thought that there could be large numbers of such people left after what we have witnessed the last four months almost scares me more than the thought of the next 3 1/2 years.....

The Goode Family
For the first time in a LONG time, I find myself looking forward to a cartoon series on TV. The first episode of 'The Goode Family' airs Wednesday, May 27th on ABC, and if the clips below are any indication, it shows great promise for humor in this era of rampant Al Gore environmentalism and Obama Kool-Aid drinkers.
The show was created by Mike Judge, who also created the show 'King of the Hill', as well as the movies 'Office Space' and 'Idocracy'. I never really got into 'King of the Hill', but I really liked 'Office Space', and while 'Idocracy' had a lot of crude humor, I still found it hilarious. Hopefully, this show will be similar.
If the clips below are a true indication of the direction of the series, it will be interesting to see what kind of reception it receives...

May you live in interesting times...
Found a must-read article here, which led me to discover this website of an organization called Oath-Keepers, that I had not heard of.
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought such an organization would be needed in this country...

WE'RE the intolerant ones?
It amazes me how the left continues to get away with attempting to absolutely destroy any private citizen who dares to publicly express opinions they might disagree with. While this has always went on to some degree, it really seems to have gotten out of hand lately, starting with 'Joe the Plumber' , and now Miss California USA, Carrie Prejean.
Weeks after DARING to publicly express her opposition to gay marriage during the Miss USA pageant, then having the AUDACITY to appear in the commercial below for an organization that defends traditional marriage, the left cannot be satisfied that her boldness surely cost her the chance to win the Miss USA title. Instead, now they are doing everything in their power to publicly humilate her, and strip her of the 'Miss California USA' title as well.
Yes, it appears that Ms. Prejean may have made a bad decision in her past to appear in some racy photographs, but lets be honest...at least with the pictures that have been released so far, I have seen more 'revealing' pictures walking by a 'Victoria Secret' store in the mall...I am quite sure that had she instead chosen to EMBRACE gay marriage, or some other liberal position, she would have been celebrated as an 'empowered' woman, should these same pictures have emerged...Of course, does anyone believe these pictures would have ever seen the light of day had she chosen such a path?
Having made a mistake in one's past should not preclude that person from expressing their views. We are to a point in this country where it is crucial that Conservatives rally around people who have the courage to stand up for our views publicly, and then stand behind them and defend them when the attacks begin. If not, fewer and fewer people in the same situation will be willing to exhibit the courage shown by Ms. Prejean, and our views, already RARE to hear in such public forums, will be heard even less....
